Laptop is finally coming online!

Well, after a turmulous time trying out various operating systems on the laptop (solaris x86, mac osx 86, ubuntu, suse) i've decided to go back to good old faithful Gentoo.

I'm just now compiling a modularized version of X11 7.0. Yay for bleeeeeeding edge. Soon I'll be toip'ing (new verb i coined which stands for "talk over ip") to people from an uber leet gentoo laptop...
