Aastra Telecom announces the availability of a software update for AastraLink RP phones.

Maintenance release 2.1.1.123 for AastraLink RPâ„¢ phones is now available on the AastraLink RPâ„¢ website.

This release includes both performance and feature enhancements including:

• Improved "Blue button" response time (removing dialtone and ringing for blue button presses)
• CT handset improvements, including visual voicemail notifications
• DTMF support for external IVRs using Early Media connections
• Improved SIP trunking support, including codec negotiation enhancements, for Microsoft certified ITSPs
• Simplified Callers List dialing
• Ability to dial Voicemail directly from Services menu
