About
Welcome to the Voip Phreak's website. Starting with a Commodore 64 in his basement, eventually moving to a 386-DX33 with a whopping 80 Megabyte Hard Drive the phreak was hooked on technology. Not long after getting his PC up and running he got his first modem. It was a sweet 14.4 Cardinal. Those were pretty good back in the day and the phreak called lots of BBS's in the local, and international arena. Eventually the phreak found out about telephony and all the cool things that can be done with phone systems.
First reading about Captain Crunch and other stories of interest in 2600 Magazine, then trying out some of the tutorials with buddies on the local telco. From then on the phreak's love of telephony began.
Here you will read stories, news, tutorials and other views from the Voip Phreak. Enjoy!
